In response to the escalating situation in Nepal, police authorities have declared a state of high alert. Pankaj Darad, the Additional Director General of Law and Order, confirmed that all border districts, including Bagaha, are under strict surveillance. Officials have been directed to maintain a constant watch along the border, ensuring security is prioritized around the clock. Furthermore, Darad has coordinated with the Inspector General of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) to enhance security measures and utilize CCTV for effective monitoring.
A travel ban has been enforced, restricting the movement of tourists between India and Nepal. However, residents living in proximity to the border are permitted to cross by presenting valid identification.
